AAARRRGGGHHH!!!
Ladies! For the last time, I will not make you look like a man! You will not get too big! You will not look like those professional female bodybuilders! Just not gonna happen!! Unless, of course, you really like needles and destroying your heart, liver, endocrine system, etc. If that were the case, I would refuse to train you anyway. I will have nothing to do with steroids, for myself, or for my clients, and steroids (I’m using the term generically to refer to testosterone, growth hormone, and a host of other illegal substances) are the only way you’ll put on too much muscle (as if there really is such a thing as too much!). There is a very rare woman that will put on muscle relatively easily, but it’s still such a slow process that you will have plenty of warning before you get too big.
Why, you ask, am I ranting about this? Well, hardly a day goes by when a woman says she doesn’t want to get too big, too bulky, look like a guy, or something similar to this. There seems to be a misconception out there that all you have to do is lift weights for a few days, and just like magic, you sprout big muscles-----I wish!! Women just don’t have the natural testosterone levels needed to put on much muscle. Plus, even with perfect genetics, you have to learn higher intensity levels during exercise than you’re probably used to, along with the right food intake and a workout designed for the most amount of growth.
Now, don’t get me wrong, if you do want to put on as much muscle as your genetics will naturally allow, then we can put together the proper program of exercise and nutrition to get you there. It’s just not going to make you look like a man even if that is what you want.
